Why would anyone need a publishing consultant or author coach, you may ask?

That’s a great question!

You might be a new author with the seed of an idea for a book in your head, but you aren’t quite sure how to start.

Some projects have flopped, but others have become #1 bestsellers. I’ve learned what works, and what doesn’t work for me as an author with a dream, and as a publisher running a successful business.

Over the last year, several people have come to me for help and advice about historical research, writing, publishing and book marketing, and that made me remember how daunting it was when I first started on my own journey.

It felt good to help some of my fellow writers to overcome some of the hurdles presented by modern publishing, and to help them save a lot of time and frustration in the process.
